A L Hales Honours Scholarship in Geophysics and Geochemistry (Australian National University) – Awarded annually to two students undertaking Honours in the Research School of Earth Sciences. Selection is based on academic merit.

Geological Society of Australia (ACT Division) Mike Rickard Third Year Prize – Awarded to the student who achieved the best result as shown by the award of the highest average mark in three EMSC3000 series courses


Anthony Seelaf memorial Prize in Earth Sciences (Australian National University) – Awarded to the student who achieved the best result in third year Field Geology


Petroleum Exploration Society of Australia (ACT Branch) Structural Geology Prize – Awarded to an exceptional student based on a combination of student academic performance, enthusiasm, class participation and hard work


2012

Summer Research Internship (Australian National University) – Supervised by Dr Penelope King


W B Clarke Prize in Earth Science (Australian National University) – Awarded to the student who achieved the best result as shown by the award of the highest average mark in three Group B Earth Science courses


Irene Crespin Prize for Palaeontology (Australian National University) – Awarded to the student who performed at the highest level in the study of the palaeontological components of any or all of the second and third year courses

Merit Award in Geology (University of Wollongong) - Awarded to the student who achieves the highest average mark for two geology subjects completed the previous year

PIMS Award (University of Wollongong)– Awarded to the geology student who has achieved the greatest commitment to their studies by demonstrating enthusiasm and competence in lectures, practical classes and field tutorials
